Life Scripts at Joyful Days

I just discovered a new blog this last week that I am enjoying reading called Joyful Days. I read an article called, "How Does Your Life Script Read?" written by the blog owner Daphne. I was inspired by the article to write the following script. The secret is to be able to read it forward and backwards and have it make sense both ways. Here was what I wrote:

The wiser I grow,
The less that I know that I know.
Life isn't about growing old.
Life is about growing wise.

To read it backwards line by line it would say the following:

Life is about growing wise.
Life isn't about growing old.
The less that I know that I know,
The wiser I grow.

Check out the original article at Joyful Days at the following link:

Have a glorious day.
Patricia

Hi Patricia,
Daphne's site is awesome, glad you're enjoying it also!

Your life script - very cool. In fact, it's a positive either way! Even so, I really like the way the second one reads - very nice Patricia!

Lance, I agree with you. I have been reading Daphne's article from her blog for the past few days and enjoying each one of them. Daphne and you both are inspiring with your joy for life that shows in your writings.

Wow, Patricia. I'm so flattered that you thought it worthwhile to write a post based on what I did on my blog. Thank you very very much. And you know I love your script and your blog!

Sorry this comment comes a little late. I tried to leave a comment on my Mac earlier but for some reason the comment window wouldn't open. Writing this from my desktop PC now and it's working fine I hope!

I wonder how we ever all got along as a race before we blogged and shared all this great inspirational stuff??

Me - getting way smarter and happier as I get older.

Brilliant!
The less that I know that I know, The wiser I grow.

That is so true...whenever I think I get something...I realize just how much I don't know! And, it's OK...the universe always shows us the way.

BTW...congrats on being featured!

thezeninyou, thank you very much. I absolutely believe that the Universe gives us what we need just when we need it. My friend calls it Divine Order. Being on BWAB has made my day. Thanks.

Hi Patricia - I love your poem and then reading it backwards. It's beautiful. What an awesome process.

I'm happy you're enjoying your reign. :) I'll see you again soon.

Have a glorious day, too.

I really like your poem. It is really something to read it one way and then the other. It makes one think about things in a new light!

Jenny, thanks, it was fun to write it. The idea came from Daphne at Joyful Days.

Your stories always offer food for thought. Lao Tzu reminds us that a true traveller, "has no fixed plans and is not intent on arriving."

Liara, for years I hid from life and missed the joy of the journey. Today, I enjoy every step of the journey.
