Patricia - I visited your blog and found it filled with bravery, yet written with eloquence. Incest or childhood sexual abuse is a touchy subject; one that so many people do NOT want to listen or talk about, thus we are lucky that our voices are heard via blogs. We can write about how we feel, and how it felt, and why we do what we do even until this day. How we react to things (PTSD that people wish to slough off). Sadly, it's us who still have the bruises. But that ok. I am continuing on with my life - and you too.

I really like your blog, and if it's ok will link and would like to visit regularly. It is important to me. Take care.

I will definately be visiting your blog, and from what I have seen of your posts you are getting the message out and doing the right thing.

Hope you have a pleasant trip away, and thank you for the invitation to contact you. It is difficult to get the word out, and I had to ‘gulp’ while writing my post "PTSD: Will I Always Be A Victim". But then I thought - why do I have to apologize what happened to me - I didn’t ask for this and I didn’t do anything wrong. That is the biggest hurdle.

Cherished79, you are truly courageous. I tried a number of times, unsuccessfully yesterday to post a reply here so then I went to your blog and finally just wrote a reply on your site. Feel free to visit anytime. I am very glad that I can be of assistance to you in your journey of recovery. Congratulate yourself on how very far you have come.

Talking about sexual abuse with a group of friends and loved ones is a big step. Blogging about these issues puts it out there to a much bigger audience of strangers. You, as I am too, are courageous to take another step forward in getting the word out. Thank you for the part you are playing in this process.
