Were you ever abused by your sibling? Many are but don't talk about it. The topic of the conversation between Cyrus Webb and Nancy Kilgore was that of "Bullying In The Home."
Nancy is a sibling abuse survivor. Last night I started reading her book GIRL IN THE WATER: A TRUE STORY THAT IS LONG OVER-DUE, EXPOSING THE TERRIFYING WORLD OF SIBLING ABUSE. On the front page of Nancy's book, she says, "Bullying starts in many American homes. 'My sister was my first bully.' "

Nancy has chosen to tackle the problem of sibling abuse. She has been ostracized by her family since she has come out about her experiences. Nancy has done research and her book is basically one of a kind. Nobody else has written about sibling abuse. It isn't a topic that most people are even aware of. Bullying is an epidemic in our schools because it is an epidemic in many homes. I hope that you will join me in reading Nancy's book and in following her journey as she reaches out to more sibling abuse survivors. You will hear more from me about her book when I finish reading it.

Thank you for providing these links on sibling abuse. Gosh, just think back forty or so years ago, you would never hear anything like this. Unbelievable. Blessings to you Pat.
JBR, you are very welcome. I agree, even today, Nancy is the only one that I know of that is speaking about this difficult topic. She needs our support. Her efforts are needed.
